Read a Book or Write a Life

We agree there are many many great Christian books – There are books on pre-marriage, raising children, grief, promises, prophecy, the last days, and on every aspect of life and subject – There is also of course God’s inspired Holy Scriptures and in all of these books there are insights, history, concepts, and precepts from which we can all live life to the full – So since this is a good thing…. what’s the point? The point is that they are written by other people

We would like to recommend you get a spiral notebook and write your own life's story… “Your God Story” – Reflect on the night you attended an all song service at a friends church, recite the struggle you victoriously pressed through, describe the beauty of your quiet walk through the woods with the Lord, tell how unexplainably at peace your heart was once you surrendered all to him - You get the idea, tell Your God Story – Don’t be concerned with timeline or story flow… just use all the adjectives and verbs you can to express the depth, fullness, and emotion of the moments you experienced God – Leave no detail out and even go back and write in the margins if you remember something later

Wow, we can’t wait to hear your voice of acclamation through our Holy Spirit’s heart… we will need to make an entry in our spiral notebook too

Lord Jesus, we pray our hearts be stirred to recall every touch and every moment we share... in your name  

We believe the Holy Spirit has an unmistakable voice... if we listen with our heart
