Colorblind Faith

Lord Jesus… it is because of your love for me and all of us that we can lift up this idea to our heavenly Father and ask for His power to anoint it… it is because of the sanctification you Jesus made available to me and all of us through the cross… we ask in your name Jesus for this notion to edify the saints… Amen

It was during a conversation with my cherished-friend Kat that we came to the term “colorblind faith” – It is part of the simple faith belief principle… here are a couple scriptures (NIV) to set the venue

2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

2Timothy 1:3 We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. 4 Therefore, among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.

Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Colorblindness is the condition that you can’t actually see an item in its true color… for example, you can’t see the sky is blue, or the apple is red, or the deer is brown… for the colorblind person, you simply just know these things because you have been told it is so

Therefore, I believe God’s Holy Scriptures not because I have seen them… but because I have been told they are so… told they are so by my family, friends, pastors, teachers, grandchildren, grandfathers, astronauts, Presidents, authors, brothers, sisters, fisherman, doctors, musicians, and even strangers… as my faith grows more and more… I believe God’s Holy Scriptures because I now see through the Holy Spirits eyes… Thank you Jesus, Amen

We believe the Holy Spirit has an unmistakable voice... if we listen with our heart

Amen
